Sous Chef/in (M/F/D)
Full-time – from June 2026 / by agreement
At Hotel DIE POST am Ortler, culinary delight takes centre stage. As Sous Chef, you will be our Head Chef’s right-hand person and play a key role in delivering our culinary signature at the very highest standard. With your expertise, creativity and commitment to quality, you will delight our guests day after day.
You will take on responsibility in the kitchen, assist with the organisation of workflows and, together with the team, ensure that everything runs smoothly. In doing so, you will contribute your ideas and continuously develop our cuisine – with passion and a keen sense of taste and presentation.
Your responsibilities:
- Assisting the head chef with all organisational and operational matters
- Sharing responsibility for ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly
- Preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standard
- Supervising and leading the kitchen team
- Monitoring quality and ensuring compliance with hygiene and quality standards
- Helping to design the à la carte menu and set menus
- Ordering, receiving and checking stock
- Ensuring the economical and sustainable use of ingredients
Your profile:
- Qualified chef
- Several years’ professional experience, ideally in the upmarket hotel or restaurant sector
- Previous experience in a managerial role is an advantage
- Creativity and a passion for high-quality cuisine
- High standards and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team, resilience and flexibility
- Independent and structured approach to work
- Good command of German; knowledge of other languages an advantage
