Useful information, T&Cs & cancellation policy

Prices and discounts

Surcharge in case of single occupancy: 

  • The surcharge is now the same for high and low season (€ 25 per day)
  • Discount for rooms with breakfast only: € 25 per person 

 

Children's prices in the parents' room from 2 full-paying adults: 

  • 0 - 2 years: free of charge
  • 3- 5 years: 60% discount
  • 6- 10 years: 40% discount
  • 11+ years: 30% discount 
Booking information

To finalise your reservation, we require a deposit of 30% of the price of your booking. 

The deposit must be paid within 7 days, otherwise the booking is considered void. 
If your arrival date is less than 7 days after the date of your booking, we only ask for your credit card details. 

Cancellation policy

Cancellations are always unpleasant – for you and for us. To make things go as smoothly as possible, please read through the information below. 

 

Please note that there is no right of withdrawal as defined by the Consumer Protection Code – however, we do offer the following cancellation policy for our guests: 

  • You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 6 weeks before your arrival. Your deposit will either be credited back to you or used as credit for your next booking. 
  • In case of cancellations made from 6 to 4 weeks before your agreed arrival date, your deposit will not be returned.  
  • In case of cancellations made 27 days before your arrival date or later, you will be charged 70% of the booking total. 
  • In case of cancellations made 6 days before your arrival date or later, you will be charged 90% of the booking total. 
  • In case of no-show, late arrival or early departure, you will be charged the full amount without deductions.

Cancellations will only be accepted in writing. 

Arrival and departure

Your room is ready from 2pm on your day of arrival. We kindly ask you to vacate it by 10am on your day of departure.   

Beauty & Wellness

Sauna area (nudist zone) and quiet areas are only accessible for persons aged 16 or older. Please note that babies are not allowed in the textile-free areas.  

Holidays with your dog at the Hotel Post

Your furry friend is welcome at the Hotel Post, provided you let us know in advance

Out of consideration for our other guests, we only accept a limited number of dogs at our hotel at one time. 

Please note that it is not possible to add a dog to your booking in retrospect. 

The charge per dog and day is € 28.00 (food not included) and a one-off final cleaning charge of € 40.00. A blanket and feeding bowl will be provided. 

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, the bar, the hotel lobby and on the terrace. 

As dogs have to stay in the room during mealtimes, they should be used to being on their own.  The spa area as well as the adjacent garden are dog-free zones. 

Parking at the hotel

Free parking is available opposite the hotel. A space in the garage costs €9 per day. Please note that the garage can only be used with a prior reservation, as spaces are limited.
